I just got a call where there was silence on the other end, so I ended up cutting it off.

I accidentally answered the phone and couldn’t make head or tail of what was being said. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number since then.

On 10th June 2026, a call came through from someone named ‘Jackie’ regarding cavity wall insulation. They kept asking me lots of questions, and every time I asked what they actually do, I got no proper answer. Pretty clear it was one of those automated voice systems, and after a bit, it just gave up trying to get me to respond. Waste of my time really.

Never had a call from this number before, got a cold call out the blue. As soon as I picked up, it was clear it was one of those auto dialler things ‘cos no one spoke and then it just disconnected. Total spam, best to stay clear of it.

The call showed up as potential spam, so I just let it go through. After having a look on here, it turns out it was spam for sure – so I’ve blocked the number now!

I’m really frustrated with these calls! I got a call from a lady with a foreign accent asking if I’ve ever taken out car finance. I kept telling them no over and over and asked them to remove my number from their list. I’m going to block this number now but I’m certain they'll just ring me from somewhere else again.

What a load of rubbish! Some tosser called saying they were my lad, trying to con me out of money. Don’t fall for it, just block that number right away!

I just got a voicemail from some unknown woman asking me to add her on WhatsApp. I've got no clue who she is and it definitely feels like one of those scams.

Didn’t pick up because I thought it might be spam, plus they didn’t leave any voice message.

Put them straight on the blocked list 🚫 🚫 🚫 🚫 🚫. Reported the number as soon as they started telling me to hold the line! No way is that happening. Total scam alert!

Got a call but it was flagged as spam, so I’m not even bothering to return it 😂🤷🏽

Got a call from an automated voice claiming there was an issue with my bank account. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Beware, some of these calls are actually voice cloning scams and they try to trick you into saying yes so they can use it later. You’ve got to be really careful and avoid agreeing to anything. But other times, it’s just your typical cold caller ringing you up.

Just got a message saying my banking app has been connected to a Samsung S22, supposedly from "Lloyds Bank". Total nonsense if you ask me.

My boyfriend got calls from someone trying to break into his Instagram and bank accounts. Quite scary stuff, really.

Got an email saying it’s from Equita Limited. They claim their Enforcement Agent visited my place but I didn’t pay anything. Now, they say their Removal Team will be coming over soon to carry out court orders or warrants and that I’ll be hit with extra fees. They want me to ring 07485985211 straight away to settle £425.00. Bit worried, to be honest.

Got a call that just beeped once then hung up - what’s the point? Do they really think I’m gonna ring back? Honestly, these scams are getting on my nerves.

My number’s unlisted on my landline but still I get calls with no message. How are they managing to find my phone if it’s supposed to be private?

I switched my home phone number not long ago because I was getting some really creepy calls. Thing is, I didn’t give the new number out to anyone, so I’m scratching my head over how these people even got hold of it. Luckily I wasn’t home when they called, and they didn’t even leave a message.

A woman called saying she was from Amazon about some loft insulation query I apparently made. I had no clue what she meant, so I just ended the call.

These calls are defo just another scam. Loads of people getting bothered by them all the time, it’s well past due that they get blocked. You’d think the phone companies could sort this out, but maybe they’re actually helping it happen? Feels like they’re always a step ahead of those trying to stop it!

Total scam alert! Just hang up, block the number straight away and forget about it. Don’t bother picking up!

This number kept ringing me, saying awful things and harassing single mums. They even dragged kids into it with disgusting, inappropriate stuff. It’s really horrible how some people do this.

Got a call where some robotic voice was pretending to be my lad, saying he’d been snatched. It felt proper fake, like some AI mishmash trying to scare me. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
