As soon as I picked up, the call ended right away! There was no voice or anything, just that typical pause you get with an auto dialler after you answer.

I answered but no one said anything, they rang me a couple of times after that too.

I picked up the phone and there was some noise in the back but then the person just ended the call straight away.

Another load of junk calls, bloody annoying!

Received a call on my landline at 1.51 pm. Didn’t say anything or leave a voicemail. I’m registered with the TPS and my number isn’t listed publicly.

They keep ringing up saying they’re from our energy provider. When I asked them to send the info via email, they claimed they couldn’t do that. That’s strange because our actual energy company emails us regularly without any issue.

Got a call for a person who definitely doesn’t have my phone number.

Watch out for scams from this number 0330 174 5734… best not to pick up if it rings you.

Got a call today around 11:46am from some recorded message talking about energy stuff... Didn’t wait around, just ended the call. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming I’d reached out about home repairs – which I never did. They started asking about things like damp and roof issues. I quickly said no, no, no and asked who was on the line. Suddenly, the call just ended. Total scam targeting vulnerable folk, no doubt. These housing repair scams are awful, they should be locked up. Seriously, how do they even get hold of our mobile numbers?

I swear kebabs are miles better than these scams trying to pass off as legit. The kebab place near me shut down, but these scam calls just pop up nonstop. Pretty sure it was one of those "Homeowner" cons. Luckily they hung up before I could "accidentally" hand over my card info.

Got two calls from them, really annoying. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a text that looked like it was from Lloyds saying someone tried to take money from my account and I should call a number. Sounded dodgy to me, so I didn’t ring it. Probably one of those scam attempts!

Just got a phone call from someone saying they were part of a housing disrepair program. Feels like a typical scam, probably taking advantage of all the storm damage folks are dealing with around the UK lately. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.

I let it ring out but there was no message on my voicemail afterwards.

Got a call about mould, but when I tried to talk, they said I didn't speak English. Then they went on to call me a #### ####. Honestly, I'd just block the number and not deal with them.

I asked if I could get a free survey for cavity wall and loft insulation, but no thanks from Jacky. Only people I trust get invited round, and she just hung up annoyed. Haha, oh well, moving on to the next caller – fingers crossed they behave better!

Got a dodgy call today, which my iPhone smartly flagged as spam. Love how it’s set to only let through calls from numbers saved in my contacts. If it’s not recognised, it just goes to voicemail. And funny enough, these scam callers never bother leaving any messages! What a great feature.

got a call yesterday evening from a number claiming to be the Met Police about some 'crime issue'. The woman said she was a cop and warned that my personal info might have been compromised. I asked her to email me the details but never got anything - pretty clear it was a scam. The scary part is she already knew my email and home address, so watch out everyone!

I just yelled "lick my grimy, hairy plums" into the receiver. She said "alright then." So now we've arranged to catch up behind the local Tesco at 3:45 tomorrow arvo. Honestly, I reckon I might be falling head over heels for this bird and plan to show it by buying her a Tesco Meal Deal. Right, time for me to hop in the shower and wash these sweaty hairy plums clean. Cross your fingers for me!

Got a missed call from 01156839715, but after checking other people's experiences, I already suspected it was a scam. I keep all my contacts saved with their names, so when a random number calls me, I usually just ignore it. Most of the time, it turns out to be a scam like this one. I simply block the number. If it was something important, they’d have left a voicemail by now - scammers rarely bother leaving messages. Plus, they often change the last digit if they call again, so watch out for that. It’s frustrating that there’s not more being done to stop these scammers using landlines and mobiles. Honestly, they should have their phones taken off them completely.

I've had calls from this number twice today already. I’m just ignoring them, fingers crossed they’ll give up soon. Also, some bloke from an 07882 mobile has been ringing me as well. They’re wasting their time with me.

My phone buzzed earlier today and I picked it up but didn’t say anything, then about 4 or 5 seconds later it just ended the call. Figured it was probably just some scam.

Today we kept getting a bunch of silent calls, all to various numbers we have. Such a strange thing to happen!
