My daughter who sadly died last November got a text from this number about some finance deal with BMW. I just don't understand how people can be so heartless. What kind of sick game is this?

Got a call from some weird bloke who said he was outside my place, then started laughing really creepy over the phone. Honestly, best thing to do is not pick up, report it, and just block the number straight away.
Had a bunch of dodgy calls recently. Looks like someone’s just got themselves a new phone number.
I tried pressing 1 to get English, but it didn't work at all, then the automated message started speaking in Chinese. Very confusing!
I picked up my home phone and there was silence on the other end before the line just went dead. Sounds dodgy to me, so I’ve added the number to my block list!
Today I got a text saying my payment for EE didn't go through and there was a link to fix it - BE WARNED, ITS FAKE! I’m actually with O2, and my bill is sorted by direct debit anyway, so no worries there. Never press the links in suspicious texts, if you’re unsure just ring the company using the phone number on their official website.

So, I got a call from 0333 092 4305 and it didn’t show up as spam or anything weird. I checked online and it turns out it’s a Mercury Holidays number. I was busy and couldn’t answer, but I was kinda hoping they’d at least leave a voicemail, maybe just asking me to ring them back or something.
Got a call from a number I don't recognise, my phone marked it as possible spam. They didn't leave any voicemail, so I just blocked it and deleted the number.
Got a spam call, but there was just dead silence on the other end, nobody said a word.
If you’re in Nottingham and thinking about Hays Travel, I’d say it’s perfectly fine to go with them, no worries at all.

I just said bye and ended the call there.
Got a new British number and it’s been hijacked by some scam outfit based in India. Seriously, don’t share any details with them and take everything they say with a pinch of salt. These lot are up to no good.
India
Over the last week, this number has called me thrice. It only rings a single time before hanging up.
Got two voicemail messages from 02036127598, both saying pretty much the same thing about payments supposedly taken from my account. One was for £99.00 from Amazon, the other £799.00 from either Zoo or Zoom – honestly couldn’t tell. They said to press 1 to confirm or 2 for the bank security team.
I didn’t pick up, and they just hung up.
Even if I had answered, I’d have known straight away it was a scam. Luckily, I recorded the messages so I’ve got proof.

They called me and already knew my first name, so when i asked if they had the right person they just hung up right after i said yes.
I got a call, and when I answered, there was this weird robotic voice thanking me for calling. Totally sounded like some kind of AI or something. Strange stuff!
Got a text from Nationwide security telling me they'd made a direct payment for £2,439.89 to someone called Muhammad Abdi. The message said to ring a number if this wasn’t right.
Muhammad Abdi
This is the third time we've been called by what shows up as mobile numbers, but I'm pretty sure they're scammers. None of the calls have messages, and when I try calling back, the numbers just don’t connect. Definitely dodgy.
No message left, so I’m pretty sure it’s just scammers ringing up.
Likely just annoying migrants again, honestly feels like dealing with a bunch of jokers.
Some bloke called claiming he was from Garden Services or something like that. Spoke with a kind of Irish twang. He wanted to know if I lived in East Kilbride…

Got calls from this number thrice today but they didn’t leave any voicemail. My phone flagged it as potential spam so I’ve just blocked it now.
Definitely not from Santander! When I answered they were super pushy and just trying to get info. Honestly, watch out because these scammers can be really risky.

Just wanted to add to what I said earlier, I checked out Lantern Recovery's contact numbers and they don’t match ours in the slightest. Makes me believe I probably got duped by a scammer after all.
Lantern Recovery
I got a message on my voicemail from someone saying they were called Jackie and asked if I was the householder. Since I didn't reply (it was just my answer machine), they just hung up. Sounds like a scam to me, right?
